At Orama Residential Treatment Center, we understand that choosing the right care for your teen is a deeply personal and important decision. Our mission is to provide compassionate, individualized treatment in a supportive environment, helping teens and their families navigate challenges such as mental health struggles, self-injurious behaviors, and emotional difficulties. Below, we address some of the most frequently asked questions to give you a clear understanding of our approach, services, and commitment to your teen’s healing journey.

We are currently in the process of being paneled with all major insurances. We are able to submit single case agreements or in-network exception requests, and we accept out-of-network benefits.

Yes, 3, 6, or 9-month plans.

Not at this time.

We employ experienced, licensed clinicians. Our team maintains a low resident-to-staff ratio to ensure personalized support and authentic connections.

No ethical treatment provider can guarantee a “cure” or specific results. However, when families follow treatment recommendations, it can significantly decrease the likelihood of readmission and support long-term healing for both the teen and the family.

Phone times are assigned by room assignment, up to two phone times per week, with approved contact lists limited to immediate family and grandparents for the first 60 days (extended family/supports may be added after with clinical team approval).

Families receive weekly treatment updates from the program therapist.

While Orama provides a secure environment with camera and team member monitoring 24 hrs a day, we are not a lockdown facility. Tthe facility is locked from the outside for safety, but patients are not locked into the building.
